Aztec Foundation Says Aztec Connect Exploited; About $2.1M Moved From Legacy Contract

Aztec Foundation said it detected a suspected exploit on Aztec Connect on June 15 (UTC+8), with roughly $2.1 million transferred out of a smart contract, according to ME News. The project noted that Aztec Connect was deprecated three years ago and that Aztec Labs no longer holds management keys or operational control, leaving the system unable to be paused or upgraded.
