Aave to Phase Out Six Network Deployments, Including Sonic, Aptos and Scroll

Aave (@aave) plans to retire 50 low-demand asset reserves across several of its deployments, as part of a broader streamlining effort. The protocol will also wind down its deployments on Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium and Aptos. In addition, Aave will remove another 25 asset reserves and 21 matured Pendle PTs. The combined changes impact $98.1 million in supplied assets and $15.6 million in outstanding debt. Founder Stani Kulechov (@StaniKulechov) said the move is intended to reduce Aave's economic and technical risk.
