Evernorth argues XRP and RLUSD fill different roles on the XRP Ledger, with XRP used as a neutral bridge asset for routing trades and RLUSD aimed at dollar-denominated transactions. In a May 20 Evernorth blog post, chief business officer Sagar Shah said issuer-linked constraints can make stablecoins less suited for universal routing across markets. He added that XRP’s function also extends to liquidity pools, collateral use, and XRPL escrow-based settlement.

Jito (JTO) rose more than 30% in a single day after quarterly figures highlighted higher staking activity, more validators, and a supply burn. The update cited 418 million SOL in cumulative Jito-enabled staked tokens, 119 million SOL staked on the Jito Network, and 9.7 million JTO burned in Q1, while daily volume jumped 605% to $168 million. Technically, JTO retested $0.35 as support after reaching $0.70, with bulls still defending the level.

Solmate Infrastructure (Nasdaq: SLMT) said Thursday that CEO Ron Sade and director Keren Maimon will buy 2,298,000 Class B ordinary shares at $4.97 each in a registered direct offering. The company expects about $11.4 million in gross proceeds, with the deal slated to close around May 27, 2026, subject to customary conditions. The price was described as a premium to recent trading levels that were around $4.67 or lower.
