XRPL contributor Vet warns AI-written scripts can trigger $2,000+ in XRP fees

An XRP Ledger (XRPL) contributor known as Vet warned that AI-generated scripts can cause costly transaction-fee mistakes after one user paid over $2,000 in fees across four payments in the past 48 hours. Screenshots showed single transactions reaching as high as 690 XRP, far above typical XRPL costs. Vet said the issue often comes from users running unverified AI-written code and failing to cap maximum fees.
