CoinGlass flags $72.32M whale short basket led by $47.78M HYPE position

A whale wallet opened short positions totaling $72.32 million across crypto and tech-linked markets, with the largest exposure in Hyperliquid (HYPE) at $47.78 million. Another whale also shorted 338,084 HYPE worth $13.40 million at an average $39.65, while HYPE has closed a daily candle below $40 and could slide toward $35 if it stays under that level. The initial whale is reported to be up more than $43.61 million in unrealized profit and also holds a $1.76 million long position in PAX Gold.
