Whale Pulls $493M of wstETH and cbBTC From Aave After ETH Bridge Flaw Surfaces

ChainCatcher cited Lookonchain data showing that an OTC whale wallet (0xd45...FB20) has withdrawn 98,032 wstETH worth about $272 million and 3,000 cbBTC worth about $221 million from Aave. The wallet previously accumulated 163,000 ETH and 4,000 cbBTC. The move follows a vulnerability in KelpDAO's rsETH bridge that blocks ETH withdrawals. To exit exposure, the whale swapped 7,438 aEthWETH (about $16.83 million) directly into 1,930 stETH and 5,272 ETH, taking a hit of 237 ETH, or roughly $5.4 million. The address still holds 10,000 ETH on Aave, valued at approximately $228 million.
