Visa Brings Polygon Into Global Stablecoin Settlement Program

Visa said it has officially added Polygon to its global stablecoin settlement program, allowing partners to process stablecoin settlements over the Polygon network. Visa reported the program's annualized transaction volume reached $7 billion this quarter, up 50% from three months earlier. Polygon highlighted that its network delivers subpenny transaction fees and roughly 4-second transaction finality, and is used for financial settlement activity by institutions including Stripe, Revolut, Flutterwave, and BlackRock.
