Whale Builds 40x Leveraged BTC Short, Adds Brent Crude Long; Unrealized Gains Top $6.6M

ChainCatcher reported that on-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa said whale trader "UnRektCapital", known for pairing a crude oil long with a Bitcoin short, has climbed to become Hyperliquid's second-largest BTC short holder. After increasing the position, the wallet now holds a 40x leveraged short of 616 BTC worth $42.29 million, entered at $72,144, with $2.15 million in unrealized profit. The whale also maintains short positions in HYPE, TRUMP, and SILVER, bringing total short exposure to $58.588 million, while holding a $5.46 million long position in Brent crude oil. All five trades are currently in the green, with combined unrealized profits exceeding $6.6 million.
