A wallet identified as 'HTX: Recovery,' widely associated with Justin Sun's team, executed a rapid withdrawal of $274 million in USDT from the Aave lending protocol on April 18. This significant transaction occurred within minutes of Aave's decision to freeze the rsETH/wrsETH market at 18:52 UTC. Specifically, between 19:12 and 19:17 UTC, the wallet completed five transactions, effectively closing its entire stablecoin exposure on the platform. Following this event and other large user movements, Aave has subsequently paused all withdrawals across its platform, prompting other major users to seek alternative, often discounted, exit strategies via decentralized exchanges.
