Bitcoin "Accumulator" Addresses Added Over 75,000 BTC This Month
Bitcoin "accumulator" addresses added more than 75,000 BTC between Dec. 1 and Dec. 10, including 40,000 BTC from Dec. 9 to Dec. 10 alone, CryptoQuant analyst DarkFrost said on Dec. 12. These addresses now hold around 315,000 BTC, with accumulation showing little sensitivity to current market conditions. DarkFrost defines "accumulator" addresses as those with no outflows, a minimum BTC purchase in the most recent transaction, at least two inflow events, a minimum total balance, at least one active transaction in the past seven years, and exclusion of known exchange, miner, and smart contract addresses.
