Crypto liquidations hit $299 million in 24 hours as shorts take the biggest hit

CoinGlass data show total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market reached $299 million over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations accounted for $104 million, while short liquidations totaled $195 million. BTC saw $91.63 million in liquidations and ETH $68.57 million. In all, 112,410 traders were liquidated during the period. The largest single liquidation was a $17.18 million position on the XYZ:BRENTOILUSD pair on Hyperliquid.
