X-COIN (XCO) is a Proof of Stake (PoS) cryptocurrency that has been successfully running for over 4 years. It was released publicly with zero pre-mine, no initial public offering (IPO), or initial coin offering (ICO) offerings on February 27, 2015, on Bitcointalk.org. The coin was initially launched as Sha256d Proof of Work (PoW) at block 1 and was changed to PoS on March 15th, 2015, at block 30001. XCO has a simple and original PoS algorithm that has worked well for years.

XCO is listed on two exchanges, BOA XCO-BTC and Yobit XCO-BTC. The new block time for XCO is instant, and every transaction creates a new block. The minimum transaction fee is 0.01 XCO, and transaction fees are paid to staking blocks. Transactions require 10 confirmations to mature. The P2P port is 14641, and the RPC port is 14642.

X-COIN has transitioned from PoW to PoS, and its current block reward is 3% interest per year plus 10 coins and transaction fees paid out every time a block is found. The reward before fees is averaged up to the nearest 0.999. Stake over 15,000 XCO to receive an average reward of 40 XCO per mined block. Some stake blocks receive a random 10 XCO bonus, and the maximum reward is 20 coins per block before fees. The minimum stake age is 8 hours, and the maximum age is 24 hours.

To maximize staking yield, combine inputs after receiving a stake for 0.01 + fees. Transaction fees are earned by block finders, and a 0.01 + fee reward means inputs have split too much, or the input is too small.
