The Secret (SCRT) is a decentralized open-source blockchain network that allows the customization of its users' data and privacy. The main goal of the Secret (SCRT) network is to protect its users and empower creators and developers of decentralized services to build a better Web 3.0 ecosystem. 

Secret (SCRT) Updates and Features

Unlike major cryptocurrency blockchain networks like Ethereum (ETH), the Secret (SCRT) network focuses on the privacy and end-to-end encryption of the data of its users. This is achieved by enabling developers and creators to build decentralized solutions and services that ensure the protection of data privacy without compromising usability. This protection of privacy will lead to the global adoption of privacy-oriented decentralized applications (dApps). 

The encryption of data on the Secret (SCRT) network is regulated by nodes that use special hardware to run their code in secure protocols known as Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). These Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) will ensure that no one, including device administrators, can gain access to the data that is being decrypted on the Secret (SCRT) network. 

The operation of activities on the Secret (SCRT) network is secured by the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus called Tendermint.

The Secret (SCRT) network was launched by the Secret Foundation in September 2019. The Secret platform was created by two professional MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) graduates called Can Kisagun and Guy Zyskind.
