What Is Fluent (BLEND) and How Does It Work?
Fluent is an Ethereum Layer 2 zk-rollup designed as the first blended execution network. It unifies three major virtual machines, EVM on Ethereum, SVM on Solana, and Wasm (WebAssembly), into a single shared execution environment and state. This eliminates fragmentation across ecosystems, allowing developers to build and deploy apps using tools and languages from different blockchains without bridges, wallet switches, or liquidity splits.
The network works by simulating the behaviors of EVM, SVM, and Wasm, then compiling them down to rWasm, Fluent’s optimized, low-level intermediate representation and virtual machine. All smart contracts run on the same chain state, enabling atomic, real-time composability: contracts from different VMs can call each other directly in a single transaction. As a zk-rollup, it inherits Ethereum’s security while delivering high throughput and lower costs, with only one unified state transition proven in zero-knowledge.
In practice, users and developers interact with a seamless environment. Apps built in Solidity, Rust, or other supported languages coexist and interoperate natively. The native BLEND token supports network operations like staking, incentives, and governance signaling, while the architecture focuses on expressivity, letting builders create richer, cross-VM applications without traditional interoperability friction. Mainnet launched in April 2026 alongside the BLEND token.

When Did Fluent Layer-2 Network Launch?
Fluent (BLEND) is an Ethereum Layer 2 zk-rollup developed by Fluent Labs to create the first blended execution network. It unifies EVM, SVM, and Wasm virtual machines into a single shared state, enabling atomic composability across ecosystems without bridges or wallet switches. The project emerged from the multi-VM interoperability narrative, raising $11.2 million total, including an $8 million seed round led by Polychain Capital in February 2025 and a testnet round in July 2025, before a small public sale on Coinbase Sonar.
Mainnet and BLEND token launched on April 24, 2026. The launch included $50 million in day-one liquidity, seven live applications, such as Vena lending with reputation-based rates, and integration with Coinbase’s listing roadmap. The TGE coincided with mainnet activation, delivering immediate utility through the blended architecture and the network’s native utility token BLEND.
Fluent Network Roadmap Highlights
- Q1 2026: Testnet development, ecosystem onboarding, and early dApp integration
- Q2 2026: Public token sale, TGE, and mainnet launch (completed April 24)
- Q3 2026: Developer ecosystem expansion, dApp growth, and adoption of the “Prints” reputation layer
- Q4 2026 and beyond: Cross-VM scaling, infrastructure improvements, SVM full integration, and broader multi-chain composability
What Is the BLEND Token Utility?
BLEND is the native utility token of the Fluent Layer-2 ecosystem. It is primarily used to pay network transaction fees, support governance voting, incentivize developers and users, and help bootstrap liquidity across applications built on Fluent. As the ecosystem expands, BLEND may also power staking, validator participation, reputation-based rewards, and other protocol services.
BLEND also helps align incentives between builders, traders, and long-term holders by serving as the core economic asset of the network. Demand for the token can grow as more decentralized apps, users, and liquidity providers join Fluent’s blended execution ecosystem.
You can trade BLEND on the BingX spot market by depositing USDT, searching for the BLEND/USDT trading pair, and placing a market or limit order. BingX offers a user-friendly interface, real-time charts, and fast order execution for both new and experienced traders.
What Is Fluent Tokenomics?
Fluent (BLEND) has a fixed maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 BLEND tokens, with no ongoing inflation publicly announced at launch.

How to Stake BLEND Tokens on Fluent Network
As of April 2026, Fluent is still expanding its staking infrastructure, so staking options may vary between direct network staking, validator delegation, or ecosystem reward programs. Always verify the latest official staking methods through Fluent’s website or dashboard before depositing tokens.
1. Create a Supported Wallet: Use an ERC-20 compatible wallet such as MetaMask, Rabby, or a hardware wallet that supports the Fluent network.
2. Buy or Transfer BLEND Tokens: Purchase BLEND on BingX and transfer tokens to your personal wallet.
3. Connect to Fluent Network: Add the Fluent Layer-2 network to your wallet using the official RPC details from Fluent’s documentation.
4. Visit the Official Staking Portal: Go to the Fluent staking dashboard or ecosystem app and connect your wallet.
5. Choose a Validator or Pool: If delegation is available, select a validator based on uptime, reputation, fees, and performance.
6. Enter Amount and Confirm: Choose how many BLEND tokens to stake, approve the transaction, and confirm in your wallet
7. Track Rewards: Monitor earned rewards through the dashboard. Rewards may be claimable manually or auto-compounded depending on platform rules.
