WLFI: World Liberty Financial Makes Its Exchange Debut
The World Liberty Financial (WLFI) token officially began trading on major exchanges last week, including BingX. Shortly after launch, the token traded above $0.30, giving it a fully diluted valuation of over $30 billion based on a 100 billion supply. WLFI is positioned as the governance token of World Liberty Financial, a DeFi project blending traditional financial infrastructure with blockchain-native solutions.
For users, the listing provides early access to one of the most closely watched DeFi governance tokens of 2025. Historically, new listings of high-profile governance tokens tend to attract speculative volume in the short term, while the longer-term performance often depends on whether the underlying platform delivers on its roadmap.
Mantle ($MNT): Expanding Liquidity with LayerZero
Mantle Network ($MNT) announced a major interoperability upgrade through a partnership with LayerZero. $MNT, which represents around $7 billion in assets, is now live on HyperEVM, powered by LayerZero’s OFT standard. This integration allows for seamless one-click deposits of $MNT into the HyperliquidX ecosystem, making Mantle more accessible across chains.
Cross-chain liquidity initiatives like this often drive higher utility and transaction volume, reducing friction for users and improving token circulation. In past cases—for example, Polygon and Avalanche integrations—interoperability upgrades have correlated with stronger adoption from both DeFi developers and liquidity providers, supporting ecosystem growth and token activity.
Ethereum: Holešky Testnet to Sunset
Ethereum’s largest testnet, Holešky, will be shut down in September following the Fusaka upgrade, with developers migrating to the new Hoodi testnet. Launched in 2023 to test staking and validator infrastructure, Holešky played a key role in trialing major updates like Dencun and Pectra, but ongoing technical issues prompted the move.
For users and developers, the transition might have little immediate impact on ETH price, but it signals Ethereum’s focus on stronger, more reliable developer environments. With Hoodi set to replace Holešky ahead of Pectra’s mainnet rollout in November, Ethereum continues to refine its infrastructure to support long-term growth, scalability, and network stability.
