KFC to end 40-year Pepsi deal with Coca-Cola switch at 3,700 US restaurants in January 2027

KFC will end its nearly 40-year exclusive U.S. beverage partnership with Pepsi, the chain said. It will move to Coca-Cola products across about 3,700 U.S. restaurants starting January 2027, with the rollout expected to be finished by spring 2027. Pepsi had supplied KFC's drinks since 1986, when PepsiCo bought the chain, and kept the arrangement through parent company Yum! Brands after the 1997 spinoff. Pepsi's full beverage lineup will be replaced by Coca-Cola's portfolio.
