IBM trims full-year revenue growth target to 4–5% after Z mainframe sales slide 42% in Q2

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
IBM cut its full-year revenue growth outlook to 4–5% (from >5%) after Q2 Z-series mainframe sales fell 42%, also lowering software growth guidance to 6–8%. Management framed the weakness as concentrated in infrastructure and related software while other segments held up, alongside stepped-up cost actions. The guidance reset undermines confidence in the software-led transformation narrative and can pressure near-term positioning in IBM and adjacent enterprise IT.
