Bombardier cuts long-term debt to US$4.05 billion, a 15-year low, as demand holds firm
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Bombardier reported long-term debt falling to a 15-year low and strong quarterly results, supported by robust private-jet demand and growing services revenue. Improved leverage, no near-term maturities, and solid free cash flow underscore balance-sheet repair after past restructuring. While positive for the company's credit profile and equity narrative, it is a single-stock fundamental update with limited read-through to broader macro or crypto markets.

Bombardier said its long-term debt fell to US$4.05 billion at the end of June 2026, the lowest level in 15 years, after cutting US$1.1 billion in the first half of the year. The Canadian aircraft maker posted net profit of US$191 million on revenue of US$2.15 billion in its latest quarter. The company’s market capitalization now tops $36 billion. The improvement reflects Bombardier’s strategy shift toward selling and servicing business jets.
