Nasdaq-listed BitMine Immersion Technologies said it will stop buying ether once its holdings reach 5% of ETH’s circulating supply. Chairman Tom Lee said at TOKEN2049 in Singapore that the firm is about 100,000 ETH short of that cap and, at roughly $41 million of weekly purchases, expects to complete its final accumulation in six to seven weeks. The move would end a weekly buying streak that began in June 2025.
