A U.S. federal judge has made public a detailed remedies framework in Google’s ad tech antitrust case, though the specific terms have not yet been disclosed. Alphabet shares edged higher on Thursday, as investors’ initial reaction to the potential remedy appeared muted.

US equity funds posted a fourth straight week of outflows in the week to September 18, with net redemptions totaling $31.44 billion, little changed from $32 billion the prior week. Investors turned cautious as higher crude oil prices stoked inflation worries and expectations of a Federal Reserve rate hike built ahead of its policy decision. Largecap, midcap and multicap funds saw outflows of $28.71 billion, $1.73 billion and $3.16 billion, respectively.

A national energy-aid group said households using heating oil could see winter bills rise by more than 31% year over year, and overall winter heating costs are expected to increase by more than 8.7%. In the week through September 16, global equity funds saw net outflows of $23.21 billion, the largest in nine months. U.S. equity funds posted a fourth straight week of withdrawals, with $31.44 billion leaving. European equity funds recorded $295 million in net outflows, while Asian funds drew $6.26 billion in net inflows. Over the same period, global bond funds took in $855 million, their smallest weekly inflow since April.

India has raised the sugar stockholding limit for bulk consumers to 30 days from 15 days, but any additional stock must come from imported sugar under the Advance Authorisation Scheme or Tariff Rate Quota. Sugar bought from the open market remains capped at 15 days’ consumption. In August, retail sugar prices fell about 10% year on year to ₹58.50 per kg, while ex-mill prices dropped nearly 25%. U.S. diesel prices hit a record $6.29 per gallon this week, up 68% from a year earlier, pushing up farmers’ fuel and transport bills across the Midwest and California. Some producers say daily fuel costs for a combine have doubled to as much as $1,500. Freight costs are also rising, including a 40% to 120% year-on-year jump to move produce out of California, adding pressure to the food supply chain, according to Energy Information Administration data.
