US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Take In $32.11M as Spot Ethereum ETFs Post $18.65M in Net Redemptions
Investor flows diverged across US-listed spot cryptocurrency ETFs, according to data from SoSoValue. Spot Bitcoin ETFs posted total net inflows of $32.11 million, while spot Ethereum ETFs saw net outflows of $18.65 million. The figures point to continued institutional demand for Bitcoin exposure, while Ethereum products faced ongoing short-term profit-taking.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the day's inflows with $89.83 million in net new capital, lifting its cumulative net inflow to $60.42 billion. Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) recorded the largest daily outflow, losing $43.08 million, with historical total net inflows at $9.96 billion.
SoSoValue data showed spot Bitcoin ETFs held $77.46 billion in total net asset value at the time of writing. ETF assets equaled 6.08% of Bitcoin's total market capitalization, and cumulative net inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $51.36 billion.
Ethereum ETFs were softer overall. Even with a net outflow of $18.65 million across spot Ethereum ETFs, a few funds still attracted fresh money. Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) posted the largest net inflow of the day at $14.30 million, bringing total inflows since launch to $19.45 million. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) followed with $5.16 million in net inflows, taking its historical total net inflow to $11.43 billion.
Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) led daily redemptions, reporting $16.07 million in net outflows. Its cumulative net inflow to date stands at $2.11 billion.
