Huo Xing Finance reported that on Aug. 25, Matt Cole, CEO of Strive (ASST), a U.S. Bitcoin treasury company, reiterated his view that the Bitcoin bull market is still in its early stages.
Cole said ASST's share price bottomed in February 2026 during a period of extremely bearish sentiment, but the company's long-term conviction never wavered. He noted that management understands the value of the firm's Bitcoin holdings, and that executives and directors increased their stakes using personal capital. Some board members also moved into full-time roles, a level of internal alignment and execution he said helped drive gains over the following six months.
Cole added that a core group of shareholders remained supportive through the most difficult stretch, and said the company will remember that backing. Despite a sharp rise in the stock and improving market mood, he said Strive's focus remains the same: the Bitcoin bull market has only just begun, and the team intends to stay fully committed.
Strive announced yesterday that it bought 1,110 Bitcoin last week at an average price of about $73,409, marking a notable increase from its prior weekly purchase pace. As of Aug. 21, the company held 21,356 Bitcoin, plus 505,000 shares of preferred stock in Strategy (STRC) valued at roughly $48.57 million, and approximately $171.9 million in cash.
