Lightning Labs Opens Wavelength on Bitcoin Mainnet for AI Agent Payments With 300,000 Sat Wallet Limit

Lightning Labs launched Wavelength on Bitcoin mainnet, enabling AI agents to make autonomous Bitcoin payments over Lightning without per-transaction human approval. Agents can pay for API calls, data, and other agents using L402, with no credit cards, accounts, or API keys. Wavelength is in alpha, with wallet limits of 300,000 sats and a 0.25% fee, and stablecoin support planned.
