Bitcoin market cap tops Tesla and Samsung, hits $1.615 trillion

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Bitcoin's market cap rebounded to about $1.615T, overtaking Tesla and Samsung and moving up the global asset rankings, reinforcing institutional-scale relevance. The rally persisted despite a Fed rate hike and the Senate's failure to pass the Clarity Act, suggesting resilient risk appetite and that key policy risks were largely priced in. The SEC's immediate framework for tokenized U.S.-listed stocks further improved regulatory sentiment.

CoinDesk reported that Bitcoin's market capitalization has climbed above those of Tesla and Samsung after last week's rebound. Current data puts BTC's market cap at about $1.615 trillion, placing it 13th among major global assets, with Tesla and Samsung close behind. CompaniesMarketCap figures show Tesla valued at roughly $1.438 trillion and Samsung at around $1.237 trillion. CoinGecko historical data indicates Bitcoin's market cap reached about $1.63 trillion on September 20 as prices rebounded to $81,000 over the weekend. Bitcoin rose to $81,914 on Saturday before some profit-taking emerged. At the time of writing, BTC was down 1.02% over the past 24 hours at $80,762. The rally held despite several headwinds last week. A Federal Reserve interest rate hike on Wednesday, which often weighs on risk assets such as cryptocurrencies, did not derail the move higher in Bitcoin and other digital assets. In Washington, the U.S. Senate failed to advance the Clarity Act on Tuesday, with the measure receiving 49 votes, short of the 60 required. After the vote, Bitcoin briefly slipped below $74,887 but stabilized quickly, signaling the result was largely priced in. Sentiment also improved after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission issued an order, effective immediately, creating a regulatory pathway for trading venues to issue tokenized representations of U.S.-listed stocks. The market viewed the step as supportive. Even as global monetary conditions shifted unexpectedly toward tighter policy, crypto assets extended gains late in the week. With regulators offering clearer operational guidance for tokenized securities trading, Bitcoin broke above $81,000 on Friday and marked its cycle peak on Saturday. From its Wednesday low of $74,962, Bitcoin posted a sharp four-day rebound, lifting its market capitalization back into the top tier of global assets.
