Drift vulnerability hits 11 DeFi protocols; some features temporarily paused

A vulnerability in the Drift protocol on April 2 disrupted 11 DeFi projects—Reflect Money, Ranger Finance, Neutral Trade, Elemental DeFi, Project 0, Lulo Finance, Asgard Finance, DeFi Carrot, Pyra, xPlace, and Fuse Wallet—prompting several to temporarily suspend functions such as minting, redemptions, or deposits and withdrawals. Ranger Finance said it has roughly $900,000 in exposure, equal to about 6% of its total value locked. Pyra paused card-related functions, Asgard Finance disabled the affected credit sources, Fuse Wallet halted deposits into its Earn products, DeFi Carrot suspended minting and redemptions, and xPlace paused deposits and withdrawals for its Savings products. Other protocols said they are waiting for Drift to restore normal operations.
