Bitgo Prime said it launched an integrated digital asset financing platform in New York on March 31, 2026, aiming to simplify collateralized borrowing and lending for institutional clients. The setup combines borrowing, lending, and collateral management in one workflow and supports liquid assets, locked tokens, and staked positions. It also enables crypto-backed loans against BTC, ETH, SOL, and various stablecoins through Bitgo's interface.

Google updated its post-quantum guidance on March 25, setting a 2029 target for full cryptography migration. Coinbase has suspended trading for Ronin (RONIN) as the network moves into the execution stage of its planned migration to a new Ethereum layer-2. Torg Grabber, a newly identified infostealer, is being deployed to target 728 crypto wallet browser extensions across 850 add-ons. The malware is designed to steal seed phrases, private keys, and session tokens using encrypted exfiltration routes, with browser-extension self-custody users as the main exposure surface.

On Wednesday, Trust Wallet introduced Agent Kit, a developer tool designed to let AI agents carry out real crypto transactions on more than 25 blockchains while keeping wallet control with users. The release supports two setups: a dedicated agent wallet with pre-set permissions, or a WalletConnect flow where an agent proposes actions that require user approval. Trust Wallet said the kit can be initialized from account creation to a working agent in under 15 minutes and is available via its Developer Portal.

Hong Kong has implemented new National Security Law rules effective March 23 that make it a criminal offense to refuse to provide passwords or help decrypt personal electronic devices. The measures apply to residents, visitors, and even transit passengers at Hong Kong International Airport, and allow police to access and retain phones or laptops deemed relevant to national security cases. While not aimed at digital assets, the change may affect people who manage crypto wallets, exchange logins, or authentication tools on their devices.

Circle has reinstated the USDC balance for one of the 16 wallets it previously froze, according to onchain investigator ZachXBT. He said the wallet "0x61f…e543," linked to Goated.com, now holds 130,966 USDC and suggested more wallets could be unfrozen "in the near future."
