Trend Research Moves 94K ETH to Binance as $671M Ethereum Position Faces Liquidation Risk

On February 6, 2026, Trend Research transferred more than 94,000 ETH worth nearly $200 million to Binance to help reduce its overleveraged Ethereum position on Aave. The entity has in total deposited 235,588 ETH valued at about $516.16 million to Binance in order to sell ETH and repay stablecoin debt, while 356,150 ETH worth $671 million remains at risk of liquidation with trigger levels between $1,562 and $1,698. Ethereum is trading at $1,923, after falling 7.25% in 24 hours and nearly 30% over seven days amid a broader crypto market downturn.
