Wallet in Telegram has launched in-app perpetual futures trading for its 150M+ users via an integration with Ethereum-based DEX Lighter. Users can take leveraged long or short positions on 50+ assets and place trades inside Telegram with up to 50x leverage. Availability is not global, with access restricted in jurisdictions including the United States and the United Kingdom.

Wallet in Telegram, a third-party wallet embedded in Telegram, is introducing perpetual futures trading through the Lighter DEX, letting users take leveraged long or short positions inside the app. The rollout, set to launch Thursday, supports up to 50× leverage across more than 50 assets spanning crypto (including Bitcoin and Toncoin) plus tokenized stocks and commodities.

Drift Protocol suspended deposits and withdrawals after an exploit drained about $280 million via admin-level access. The Solana-based DEX said the attacker took over Security Council permissions using pre-approved transactions, then removed withdrawal limits and added a malicious asset. The incident underscores how governance, multisig approvals, and signing workflows can become key DeFi attack surfaces.

Solana (SOL) traded around $78, falling nearly 6% on the day and extending an 11% weekly decline. Drift Protocol said it suffered an exploit, while an on-chain monitor claimed nearly 980,000 SOL was drained and losses exceeded $200 million. The move leaves traders watching whether SOL can reclaim $85 or risks breaking below the $78 support zone.

Bitget Wallet has added Hyperliquid's HIP-3 infrastructure, bringing always-on, permissionless onchain macro markets into its self-custodial "everyday finance" app. Users can trade RWA spot and perpetual markets from one wallet interface, including around 300 equities and ETFs, major indexes, and commodities such as gold, crude oil, and natural gas.

Drift Protocol, a Solana-based DeFi platform, said on April 1, 2026 that it is investigating unusual activity and urged users not to deposit funds while the review continues. Lookonchain reported that more than $270 million in crypto was suspiciously moved to wallet "HkGz4K", then swapped into USDC and bridged to Ethereum to purchase ETH. The tracker said the buying reached 19,913 ETH ($42.6 million) before rising to 38,820 ETH ($82.6 million).

Drift Protocol has suspended deposits and withdrawals after confirming an active attack and disclosing the incident on 1 April. Early on-chain estimates put potential losses near $285m, spanning assets such as $71.4m in USDC and $159.3m in JLP. The team said it is working with security firms, bridges, and exchanges, while the alleged exploit method remains unconfirmed.

The Uniswap Foundation said it ended 2025 with $85.8 million in assets and expects its current funding to cover operations into early 2027. It disclosed holdings as of Dec. 31, 2025, including $49.9 million in cash and stablecoins, 15.1 million UNI, and 240 ETH. The group also outlined allocations of about $106.2 million for grants and incentives and $26.3 million for operating costs and employee token awards.

SOL has pulled back about 11% after being rejected at $93 last Wednesday, repeatedly revisiting the $80 area as traders watch for a potential move toward $75. In March, Solana network fees fell to $18.5 million from $30 million in January alongside DEX volumes sliding to $55.5 billion, while 30-day DApp revenue data still shows a comparatively strong cohort of high-earning apps.
