Metaplanet buys 5,075 Bitcoin for $405M in Q1, overtakes MARA to rank No. 3 among corporate holders

Metaplanet purchased 5,075 Bitcoin in the first quarter, spending $405 million. The acquisition pushed the company past MARA, which sold 15,000 BTC, making Metaplanet the third-largest corporate Bitcoin holder. The firm is targeting holdings of 100,000 BTC by year-end.
