Vitalik Buterin Details Ethereum Foundation Shift as ETH Trades at $2,115.55

On May 24, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin published a roadmap-style vision for the Ethereum Foundation, saying the EF is restructuring so its influence—and his own internal power—continues to decline. He said the foundation aims to focus on Ethereum's core principles such as security, privacy, decentralization, and censorship resistance, while managing its treasury for longevity and selling less ETH. At press time on May 25, ETH was $2,115.55, down 0.1% over 24 hours, 0.2% over the week, and 8.7% across the month.
