Keyrock: Crypto rails helped AI agents settle $73M via 176M transactions through April 2026

A Keyrock report says AI agents using crypto payment rails moved from an idea to active usage over the past 12 months, settling more than $73 million across 176 million transactions from May last year through April 2026. It adds that sub-dollar payments—averaging about 31 cents—made stablecoins the practical settlement layer, with over 98% of agent settlements conducted in USDC.
