Bitcoin dropped from $97,000 on Jan. 15 to $73,000 on Feb. 4, breaking below $80,000, with holders above $80,000 selling over 610,000 BTC in 20 days, accounting for 88% of outflows, analyst Murphy said. URPD data show long-term holders represented 9.7%, while the $70,000–$80,000 cohort net purchased about 450,000 BTC during the same period.
