OG crypto whales shift over 40,000 ETH to self-custody as Ethereum trades near $2,037

On February 7, 2026, on-chain data showed several long-term Ethereum whales withdrawing more than 40,000 ETH worth tens of millions of dollars from Binance and OKX into self-custody, including one address moving 19,503 ETH and another 9,576 ETH. At the same time, Ethereum was trading around $2,037 with its MVRV ratio close to 0.96, while large-holder balances increased and mid-tier wallets reduced their holdings, highlighting rising concentration among major investors.
