UK Treasury to Implement FCA Oversight of Cryptoassets from 2027

The UK finance ministry plans to bring cryptoassets under formal regulation from October 2027, with companies in the sector required to meet standards set and supervised by the Financial Conduct Authority, Reuters reported.
