Aavegotchi is an NFT-gaming protocol that allows users to own virtual assets. 'Aavegotchi' corresponds to 'Aave,' a Finnish word for 'ghost.' The protocol operates in an open-source community.
There are two main sections in the Aavegotchi protocol – its flagship game, Gotchiverse, and Aavegotchi NFTs. Members of the Aavegotchi community can vote in the AavegotchiDAO, an organization that supervises all the protocol sections.
Aavegotchi tokens – Aavegotchi holds an eco-governance token called the Aavegotchi (GHST) coin. The token's community launched their token project on Polygon, a significant sidechain on the Ethereum network.
Aavegotchi Team
Coder Dan (pseudonym) and Jesse Johnson are co-founders of the Aavegotchi gaming protocol, doubling as the protocol's CEO. Jesse Johnson is also the COO of Pixelcraft Studios, producers of the Gotchiverse.
Other staff members hold top positions in the organization, including Stani Kulechov, the NFT protocol's first advisor.
