Ethereum (ETH) traded near $2,043.41 after falling -4.16% over the past 24 hours, while the $2,040–$2,130 area was framed as a key support zone. The market outline maps a bearish path toward $1,800–$1,900 if $2,000 breaks, versus a bullish recovery scenario that points to $2,500 if support holds.

Bitcoin and ether ETFs posted a second consecutive session of net inflows, with bitcoin funds taking in $117.63 million and ether funds adding $31.17 million. Bitcoin ETF trading volume reached $3.11 billion with net assets at $87.46 billion, while ether ETF volume hit $1.03 billion and net assets rose to $11.98 billion. In contrast, XRP and solana ETFs saw no trading activity, ending with net assets of $943.73 million and $805.84 million, respectively.

Ethereum traded above $2,100 at the start of the new month as one analyst framed its next major move around a single invalidation level. The analyst said holding $1,382 keeps an Elliott Wave “Wave 2” setup intact with an upside target as high as $8,400, while a break could open the door to a drop below $900 with chart projections between $800 and $500.

Solana and Ethereum set new transaction records in Q1 2026, underscoring two different approaches to network activity. Solana processed 10.1 billion transactions, while Ethereum logged just over 200 million, pointing to scale-led throughput on one chain and value-focused settlement on the other.

Alameda Research has unstaked more than 1,695 ETH valued at over $3.56 million, after selling more than $17 million in SOL three weeks earlier. With reported holdings of about $300 million in SOL, $35 million in Bitcoin, and $20 million in USDT, traders are watching for potential near-term sell pressure on Ethereum and Solana. ETH is hovering under a long-standing resistance while SOL is range-bound, with key levels highlighted at $2,100 for ETH and $76 support for SOL.

The Uniswap Foundation said it ended 2025 with $85.8 million in assets and expects its current funding to cover operations into early 2027. It disclosed holdings as of Dec. 31, 2025, including $49.9 million in cash and stablecoins, 15.1 million UNI, and 240 ETH. The group also outlined allocations of about $106.2 million for grants and incentives and $26.3 million for operating costs and employee token awards.

Bitcoin ETFs started the week with a $69.44 million net inflow, led by ARKB ($33.03 million) and FBTC ($28.89 million), while total net assets slipped to $85.47 billion. Ether ETFs turned positive after eight straight outflow days, logging a $4.96 million net inflow despite a $9.76 million withdrawal from ETHA. In contrast, XRP ETFs saw a $2.31 million outflow and Solana ETFs posted a $6.17 million outflow, as smaller products continued to face selling pressure.

Ethereum has recovered from the $1,935–$1,936 area and moved back above $2,000, with price now consolidating above $2,050. ETH is trading above $2,020 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average, while the next key resistance is cited near $2,150. If ETH fails to clear $2,120, supports highlighted include $2,050, $2,020, and then $1,980.

Midnight (NIGHT) has cooled into the $0.04-$0.05 zone after a launch rally toward $0.10-$0.11 and is now pressing its first major resistance band at $0.053-$0.055. Shiba Inu (SHIB) is forming a tightening range that could enable a roughly 16% squeeze toward $0.0000068-$0.0000070 if it breaks above nearby resistance. Ethereum (ETH) is nearing a "mini-death cross" in short-term averages, with a potential retest of $1,800-$1,900 if rising support fails.

Ethereum (ETH) is showing continued selling pressure on charts even as a large share of supply stays illiquid through staking. Nearly 3 million ETH is reportedly queued to be staked with an entry wait of about 50 days, while the exit queue is close to empty. Total staked supply has surpassed 38 million ETH—over 31% of total supply—alongside estimates of $1.1 billion in leveraged longs versus roughly $4.22 billion in shorts.
