GSA strikes OpenAI deal offering U.S. federal workers 50% discount on advanced AI models
The U.S. General Services Administration has reached an agreement with OpenAI that gives the federal government a 50% discount on access to the company’s most advanced AI models, with no minimum spending requirement. The arrangement is being executed through GSA’s OneGov procurement strategy to speed AI adoption across federal agencies. Other government entities—including state, local and tribal governments—will also be able to use the same models at the same discount, according to a deal document obtained by Fox News Digital.

Campbell’s cuts 13% of salaried staff and shuts two snack plants
Campbell’s said it is cutting 13% of its salaried workforce and closing two snack plants as it seeks to improve operations and return to profitability. New York City’s proposed Delivery Protection Act would require some delivery operators to directly employ workers who perform core services, including delivery, and would restrict subcontracting. Amazon says the measure could lift per-package delivery costs by 267% and add $664 a year for every New York City household, while putting more than 40 delivery service partners and 5,000-plus employees at risk, according to Fox News Digital. The company says the rules could push last-mile operations outside the five boroughs and potentially out of the city.
