India-listed Lord's Mark Industries Limited (SUS) said it will issue 1,028,483 equity shares to Bennett, Coleman and Co., the parent company of The Times of India, at Rs. 158 per share. The issuance will be carried out under a share and warrant subscription agreement signed between the two parties. The company said the transaction reflects a strategic investor’s recognition of its value and is a non-public equity financing action with implications for SUS’s capital structure, expectations around control, and secondary-market sentiment.

South Korea’s newly launched leveraged chip ETFs surged in popularity after debuting in May, logging more than 10 trillion won in trading value on the first day—nearly one-third of total ETF turnover. Combined assets under management later peaked at 17.6 trillion won before sliding to 9.92 trillion won after an AI-driven chip rally reversed. Binance said its tokenized securities product bStocks has surpassed $500 million in assets under management seven weeks after launch. The company said 41.5% of users got their first exposure to traditional finance through bStocks, and Gen Z accounts for 44% of trading activity. Binance also said bStocks contributes 58% of equity-linked trading volume on the platform outside U.S. market hours. Baheti Recycling Industries Ltd. (NSE: BAHETI) reported first-quarter FY27 results with net revenue of Rs. 253.94 crore, up 88.90% year on year. The company attributed the growth to strong demand across its core businesses, including aluminium recycling, aluminium alloys and deox alloys. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, it focuses on aluminium circularity and specialty alloy manufacturing within the base metals processing sector.

Ice Make Refrigeration Ltd. has signed an agreement with Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed Galilei Holdings to raise INR 1,800 million via a preferential issue, and an additional INR 100 Million from other investors. The two companies also plan to set up a joint venture in which Galilei will hold a 60% stake and Ice Make 40%. The partnership is aimed at strengthening Ice Make’s capital base and technical collaboration in refrigeration equipment, according to the company statement.

Taiwan’s Taiex fell below the 40,000 mark, dropping 1,830.55 points (-4.40%) to 39,772.81 as of 11:53 a.m. local time on July 29. TSMC, which accounts for over 40 per cent of total market value, slid 3.29 per cent to NT$2,205. Some semiconductor component stocks also hit the 10 per cent daily limit down. Advance Technoforge Limited, a Gujarat-based manufacturer of precision forging and machining components, will open its Rs. 24.03 crore fixed-price IPO on July 27–29, 2026 at Rs. 95 per share, with a proposed listing on the BSE SME platform. The company said it plans to use the proceeds for machinery purchases and installation, working capital needs, and repayment of a loan. The tentative listing date is Monday, August 3, 2026, according to PNN.

Pakistan’s wheat crisis is worsening after Punjab met only 16% of its annual procurement goal, leaving national reserves strained and an estimated shortfall of about 3.5 million tonnes. The country spent more than USD 1 billion to import nearly 3.5 million tonnes of wheat last year, but officials are still weighing emergency additional imports. Federal and provincial authorities are coordinating releases from federal stocks and assessing new import options.
