Fetch.ai CEO said on Oct. 24 the company would withdraw all pending legal actions if Ocean Protocol returns 286 million FET tokens allegedly sold during the merger, Cointelegraph reports. Bubblemaps data show a multisig wallet linked to Ocean Protocol converted approximately 661 million Ocean tokens into 286 million FET tokens valued at around $120 million. Ocean Protocol previously attributed the 93% decline in FET token price from its peak primarily to large-scale selling by SingularityNET and Fetch.ai, as well as Fetch.ai's failed high-risk TRNR trades, rather than Ocean's exit from the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI). The ASI token merger involving SingularityNET (AGIX), Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol was completed on June 13, 2024.
