Ethereum briefly exceeded $4,000 on Oct. 24, reaching $3,997.32 with a 1.3% gain over one hour, HTX market data show. Bitcoin traded at $111,735, up 0.67% in the same period. The U.S. September seasonally adjusted core CPI monthly rate came in at 0.2%, below the 0.30% forecast and prior reading.
