Tether Projects $15B Annual Profit on 99% Operating Margin
Tether announced October 24 it expects to earn $15 billion in profit this year, operating at a 99% margin with $183 billion USDT in circulation. The stablecoin issuer has reached 500 million users globally and is in discussions with SoftBank Group and Ark Investment Management to raise up to $20 billion for a 3% equity stake.
