The Uniswap Foundation awarded Brevis up to $9 million on Oct. 24 to build a trustless gas rebate program for DEX aggregators integrating Uniswap v4 Hooked pools, the foundation announced. The system will use Brevis's ZK Data Coprocessor and Pico zkVM technology to compute and verify rebates off-chain without centralized tracking. The mechanism aims to incentivize routers to integrate Hook functionality, accelerating Uniswap v4 adoption while preserving DeFi's trustless model.
