Stablecoin transactions for real-world goods, services and transfers reached $10 billion in August 2025, up from $6 billion in February and more than double the volume in August 2024, blockchain data provider Artemis reports. The surge follows the U.S. passage of its first regulatory framework for stablecoins in July. At the current growth rate, annual stablecoin payment volume could reach $122 billion, Artemis researchers said.
